ABOUT ME

Clinical Director, Ermilio De Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and Bachelor of Criminology Degree from the University of Toronto. He has clinical certifications in Addictions, (GAIN Assessor, Pharmacology), Forensic Interviewing, Child Maltreatment, Suicide and Abuse Prevention, Cognitive Skills Coach, LGBTQ and Elderly issues, Brief Solution Focused, Mindfulness Meditation, Cognitive Behavior, Dialectical Behavior and Person-Centered Therapies.

Mr. De Lisa is registered with the Canadian College of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists and a clinical member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. He has worked with both public and private non-profit organizations such as Correctional Services (Federal and Provincial), Children’s Aid Societies of Ontario, Kids Help Phone, Vita Community Living Services, Bartimaeus Rehabilitation Services, Operation Springboard, Peel Addiction Assessment Referral Centre and LifeWorks Inc. Ermilio has specializations in Addictions, Concurrent Disorders, Brain Injury Rehabilitation, Child and Adolescent Maltreatment, Positive Parenting, Marital-Couple and Family Counselling.

Mr. De Lisa has been providing professional clinical services in the Greater Toronto Area for more than three decades. He has worked diligently with both men and women of all ages and cultural backgrounds with multiple social, emotional and mental health service needs including the Aboriginal population.  Mr. De Lisa offers all clinical services in both English and Italian. Hypnotherapy and Mediation Services are available by another certified staff member.
