ABOUT ME

Clinical Director, Ermilio De Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology from the University of Toronto. He has clinical certifications in Addictions, (Lifetime GAIN Assessor, Pharmacology), Forensic Interviewing, Child Maltreatment, Suicide and Abuse Prevention, Cognitive Skills Coach, LGBTQ and Elder Care issues, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Meditation Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy.

Mr. De Lisa is registered with the Canadian College of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists and a clinical member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. He has worked with both public and private non-profit organizations such as Correctional Services (Federal and Provincial), Children’s Aid Societies of Ontario, Kids Help Phone, Vita Community Living Services, Bartimaeus Rehabilitation Services, Operation Springboard, Peel Addiction Assessment Referral Centre and Telus Health formerly LifeWorks Inc. Ermilio has specializations in Addictions, Concurrent Disorders, Brain Injury Rehabilitation, Child and Adolescent Maltreatment, Positive Parenting, LGBTQ issues, Marital-Couple and Family Counselling.

Mr. De Lisa has been providing professional clinical services in the Greater Toronto Area for more than three decades. He has worked diligently with men, women, children (from age 6) and adolescents from various cultural backgrounds including the Aboriginal population.  Mr. De Lisa offers all clinical services in both English and Italian. There are two locations in Mississauga: the Erin Mills Town Centre and a Home Office near Collegeway and Glen Erin intersection. Mediation Services are available by another certified staff member.
